Wolfram Gstrein has more than 25 years in depth work experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Starting as a process engineer for Biodiesel plants he proceeded in engineering different types of production plants for several customers in Europe. He took over lead engineering and project management positions within life science projects. His involvement in numerous projects in different branches and for different customers has provided him with a deep understanding of innovative process systems design, translating owners requirements in design criteria and organizing large EPCM projects up to 350 million EUR.
Wolfram took over the managing director position (CEO) and became shareholder of VTU in 2000. As such he developed the engineering company in Germany from 7 employees to a profitable 340 employees engineering solutions provider. Needless to say that these achievements would not have been possible without the support of the VTU Group management team.
